There are many ways in which an individual, a company, or an organization can contribute to Camp Arbolado, including:

• Monetary donations
• Material donations
• Time and talent (volunteer program staff/counselor, labor for service projects, licensed professional services, helping with camp promotional activities in the Whittier area, sharing your talent/skill in a program area, etc.)

There are formal work weekends organized by the Whittier YMCA and camp alumni association peropidically, such as the one scheduled from April 24 – 26, 2026 (click here and here for more info).

For monetary donations by check, make checks payable to “YMCA of Greater Whittier” and write “Camp Arbolado” on the memo line at the bottom of the check. If you want the funds to go toward a specific camp project or to provide camperships, add a post it note stating this and put the note in the envelope with your check. Mail the completed check to the following address: YMCA of Greater Whittier, ATTN: Suman Rana; 12510 Hadley Street; Whittier, CA; 90601.
