The ball field is next to the archery field and consists of a large open space where field games, astronomy, sleeping under the stars by cabin groups, and sometimes twilight activities are held. For example, this is great for campers to view and learn about planets, constellations, nebulae, galaxies, comets, satellites, and other cosmic entities through powerful camp telescopes, being guided by camp scientists. Have a Harry Potter theme for a camp session? The ball field becomes the Quidditch arena. Two cabins want a friendly game of tag football? The ball field is the place to be.
Below are some photos of the ball field and activities that are typically held there.
