Cabin J has been used for multiple purposes over the years, including a camp store, darkroom for photography programs, and staff housing. Today, Cabin J is used for staff housing and contains one bedroom, a living room, a small kitchen, and a bathroom. It is physically located across from Saunders pool. Cabin J has no kitchen facilities.
