Alumni Association Purpose
The Camp Arbolado Alumni Association is a non-profit association formed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as specified in Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. The Association’s purpose is to raise and disperse funds to provide charitable assistance to members of the general public in financial need, with emphasis on providing for:
A. Provide service to Camp Arbolado. Service shall include:
- Camperships (scholarships to enable families of reduced financial circumstances to send their children to camp)
- Monetary, equipment and material donations
- Volunteer human capital resources (i.e., volunteer staffing, work project trade skills and labor, etc.).
B. Foster unity, camaraderie, identity, and continuity among Camp Arbolado campers, staff and alumni through various social activities, awards/incentives, work projects, etc..
C. Provide a support network for Camp Arbolado campers, staff and alumni.
D. Perpetuate and preserve the customs and history of Camp Arbolado.
E. Promote the interest and goals of the campers, staff, and alumni of Camp Arbolado and its affiliated organizations.

What is a Arbolado Alumnus?
An Arbolado alumnus is anyone who has come to camp as a camper or worked as a paid or volunteer staff member. Thus, alumnus come in all shapes, sizes, and ages. There are no fees or dues to join the alumni association.
Alumni Association Activities and Events
To see current and future planned alumni events, refer to the list of events on the main camp web page (click here).
There are also opportunities to connect with other alumni and camp by making monetary and/or material donations and donating time and talent at organized service opportunities, such as work weekends. You can also volunteer as a counselor or lead a camp program area that reflects your professional/work specialty. You don’t have to wait for an organized work weekend to come to camp and provide service. There will always be trail maintenance, painting and cleaning, repairs that do or do not require specialized skills or professional licensing, and other tasks that need to get done.
